Theater: The ACT – 5th Period Friday

Let’s get together and tell stories on stage! In this class for grades 1-4 only, we will focus on literacy, creativity, self-expression, and body awareness, as we act, play theatre games, learn improv, create characters, and perform in short skits and scenes with other members of the class. Fundamental drama skills will be the major focus, as we nurture a love of reading and teach collaboration with others. Our younger students will have a lot of fun while encountering a wide variety of settings, characters, and plots, learning to become effective storytellers and growing their knowledge of the world in the process.
