Nature Study – 4th Period Friday (1st-3rd)

Course Description:  The goal of this Nature Study class is for it to be an organic learning environment to observe and learn from the outdoor world around us. We will learn more about the world God made through the lens of creation, and explore the many details our Creator so intricately formed! Your child will have the opportunity to explore the outdoors each class period and engage in hands-on activities. During the nature walks, we will document our journeys through sketching, painting, and writing. We will incorporate things such as books, art, crafts, and games to learn more about our topic each week. There will be 2 small presentations throughout the year that will be very casual and fun for the kids! There will not be weekly homework in this class.
