Intro to Digital Photography – 4th Pd Wed (9th-12th)
$375.00 – $425.00
Course Description: This course will provide the skills necessary to effectively and creatively use a DSLR camera, to understand the science behind taking pictures and to find new ways to look at God’s creation. We will use a combination of text, assigned videos and photograph taking assignments each week to gain experience. The students will also learn how to edit their pictures with Photoshop. Students must have access to a DSLR camera and a computer (for Adobe Photoshop). These are not assignments that can be completed the day before class but will involve effort and commitment. This class will include group critique, both positive and negative, of a student’s work. A photography exhibit will be presented at the end of the year to showcase the students’ best works.
