Intro to Chess – 4th Pd (5th – 6th)

Course Description:  Come join in the fun and learn how to get started playing chess. Chess Coach Mike B. from North Texas Chess Academy is excited to teach you how to set up the chess board, how the pieces move, how to capture, chess notation, check, checkmate, castling and the ABC’s to starting a game. The class will also include fun facts about chess history and current events. Of course, there will be plenty of activities and playing!
