Course Description: This will be a fun, challenging year! Students will learn how write-up experiment reports, take tests, quizzes, and read from their thick textbook. All work will be graded, and although challenging, your student will show tremendous growth by the end of the year. *Exploring Creation with General Science is designed to be a student’s first systematic introduction to the sciences. The course covers such topics as the scientific method, designing experiments, simple machines, archaeology, geology, paleontology, biology, and human anatomy and physiology. Its scope, therefore, is quite wide. There are many hands-on experiments.

Expectations: Class requries reading & vocabulary review that will likely take most families 45 minutes/4 days a week to complete at home. Weekly lab reports will be required along with periodic student demonstrations of their assignments.
Prerequisites: 6th Grade Math; Life Science or the ability to write a complete, detailed lab report
