Elections: This course aims to familiarize the student with the history, importance, and impact of the election process in our country. Students will engage in lively, wide-ranging, respectful discussions, like the needs of a new, growing country, to 21st century challenges. Upon completion of this semester-long course, students will have an understanding of the general election process, with the foundational understanding that a sovereign God directs the outcome (Daniel 2:21: “He changes the times and seasons; He removes kings and establishes them. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning.”).

Personal Finance: This course aims to teach middle schoolers the basics of the world of personal financial responsibility. With adulthood coming in the not-too-distant future, students need to begin to consider what being financially independent of their parents looks like without the pressure of having to figure it out while it’s happening.
